Job Summary

We are seeking a Gaming Industry Animation Specialist to join our team at Tech Artists. As a Technical Animator, you will be responsible for creating high-quality animations and assets for our games.

About the Role
  • This is a full-time remote position, so you should be comfortable working independently and communicating effectively with team members.
  • You will work closely with character artists and animators to ensure the highest possible quality of assets in our games.
Key Responsibilities
  • Rigging and skinning of character assets and props using industry-standard tools like Maya and Motionbuilder.
  • Testing the rig with animation to ensure it meets our quality standards.
  • Providing technical support to team members to optimize processes, eliminate roadblocks, and maintain a smooth production pipeline.
  • Collaborating with game engine developers to ensure seamless integration of animations into our games.

As a successful candidate, you will have at least 3+ years of experience as a Technical Animator/Rigger/Technical Artist with gaming experience in Unity or relevant experience with significant involvement.

The estimated salary for this role is $95,000 - $115,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
