Game Animator Specialist

Pentasia is a leading gaming industry company seeking an experienced Game Animator to join our team. As a key contributor, you will be responsible for creating high-quality animations using in-house tools and external software such as After Effects and Spine.
Job Description- Create visually stunning animations for a wide range of mobile games, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration.
- Collaborate with product owners, artists, and developers to understand animation requirements and optimize performance across different devices and platforms.
- Prepare game artists' artwork for animation production, ensuring it is optimal for the game engine.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to conceptualize and storyboard animations, stay up-to-date with industry trends, and contribute to the development of our in-house animation tooling.
Requirements- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Animation or a related field.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating proficiency in 2D animation for games.
- Proficiency in using animation software, game-engines, and creative tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Unity, Blender).
- Solid understanding of animation principles, including timing, spacing, weight, and anticipation.
- Experience in the gaming industry.
$80,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience.
