Job Title: High Voltage Electrical Designer

We are recruiting for an HV Electrical Designer to design and develop high and low voltage electrical distribution systems for EV chargers and associated infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop high and low voltage electrical distribution systems connected to a low voltage electrical system of EV chargers.
  • Manage site visits to assess the feasibility of projects and identify potential issues related to high and low voltage systems.
  • Review project requirements and specifications and ensure designs meet standards and regulations.
  • Ensure instructed projects are tracked against key milestones through to construction to facilitate accurate forecasting of work and resources.
  • Maximise revenue and profit from the customer contract through identifying opportunities for cost savings and/or additional chargeable activities.
  • Build and maintain constructive and open relationships with customers.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
  • Deep understanding of the electricity industry, including trends, competitors, and market conditions.
  • Ability to manage and track multiple projects concurrently.
  • Effectively communicate (verbal and written) and collaborate with customers, team members, and other stakeholders.
  • Strong technical and analytical skills to support the construction and commissioning teams during project implementation.
  • Robust skills in preparing detailed drawings, specifications, and bills of materials.
  • Full Driving Licence.
