Job Description
This role involves assessing bid opportunities, evaluating project risks, and creating detailed estimates for clients' specifications. The successful candidate will be working independently, developing and implementing the pre-construction strategy for the business unit. Key responsibilities include:
- Evaluating client tender documents and determining technical requirements.
- Assessing key project data and client criteria to inform bid decisions.
- Developing and maintaining relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Collaborating with internal teams to deliver accurate and timely estimates.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this position, candidates should possess a minimum of 5 years' experience in estimating within the utilities, electrical, or general civil engineering sectors. Strong communication and analytical skills are essential, along with the ability to work effectively under pressure. Experience working with Independent Connection Providers (ICPs) is desirable but not necessary.
