About the Role

We are looking for an individual with a minimum 6 months' professional care experience in any care setting, including live-in carers, domiciliary carers, care assistants, support workers, healthcare assistants, or similar. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, empathy, and the ability to work independently.

Job Description

As a Care Companion, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and companionship to clients in their own homes. This may involve assisting with daily activities, personal care, managing medical conditions such as dementia, stroke, and Parkinson's, administering medication, moving and handling, cooking, cleaning, and ensuring the smooth running of the household.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide tailored support and companionship to meet the needs of each client
  • Assist with daily activities, personal care, and managing medical conditions
  • Administer medication and perform moving and handling tasks
  • Cook, clean, and maintain the household
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A minimum 6 months' professional care experience in any care setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to travel to client placements (UK travel expenses covered)
