We're seeking a highly ambitious Business Analyst with experience in business, process analysis, and improvement. As a key member of our team, you'll work closely with stakeholders to assess business processes, determine requirements, and provide recommendations to enhance processes and shape solutions.

The ideal candidate will have a detailed understanding of relevant Business Analysis tools and methodologies, as well as experience with stakeholder analysis, the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), and both Waterfall and Agile methodologies.

The position offers a unique opportunity to work remotely 4 days a week (subject to business requirements) and provides a comprehensive benefits package, including a starting salary of £45k to £50k per annum, car allowance, and access to a range of employee benefits.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Analysis:
    1. Conduct thorough business analysis to identify problems, opportunities, and solutions for the business.
    2. Elicit requirements through effective stakeholder management and strong analytical skills.
    3. Document and prioritize business, technical, functional, and non-functional requirements.
  2. Solution Design:
    1. Collaborate with the business, Architects, and IT to determine suitable processes, services, and software to deliver solutions that meet business needs.
    2. Contribute to testing, implementation, and business readiness activities.
  3. Financial:
    1. Analyze costs and benefits associated with proposed solutions and determine the best fit based on cost/benefit analysis.
  4. Thought Leadership/Capability Development:
    1. Contribute to the continuous improvement of Business Change capability through the development of Business Analysis competencies and acting as a thought leader and subject matter expert.
Key Requirements:
  • Detailed understanding of relevant Business Analysis tools and methodologies.
  • Experience with stakeholder analysis, the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), and both Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
  • Skilled in the production of scope and functional specification documents, gap analysis, and process modeling.
  • Understanding of databases and system architecture.
  • Experience working in a 4PL or 3PL planning environment.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Comfortable analyzing large volumes of data to produce conclusions and recommendations.
  • Cost benefit analysis skills.
