We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst to lead the enhanced and detailed business performance analysis and reviews for the Northern Europe Hub (UK, Ireland, Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Finland).

The ideal candidate will have 5 years of consistent track record in a Business Insights / Analytics role, either client and/or agency side.

This role requires an obsession with analytics and actionable insights, as well as high competence in common Business Analytics systems -NielsenAnswers/Discover.

The successful candidate will also have outstanding Excel skills and very high proficiency in leading a large number of data files.

This is a 2-year contract position, offering a competitive salary range of $85,000-$115,000 per year, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Reviews: strategic analysis and deep dives for management, identify and map main business opportunities, read and anticipate key market trends.
  • Read business performance via 360' degrees assessment, demonstrating multiple data sources and information.
  • Responsible for Descriptive Analytics for the Hub, to provide in-depth, fast and coordinated category and business performance understanding and diagnostics fully embedded into the business.
  • Agency Management: Implement continuous process to improve service & data quality from business partners i.e. Nielsen, Kantar and ensure alignment with quality standards.
  • Own the contracts and set performance key metrics and conduct quarterly/annual reviews of data providers.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 5 Years consistent track record in a Business Insights / Analytics role.
  • Obsession with analytics and actionable insights.
  • High competence in common Business Analytics systems -NielsenAnswers/Discover.
  • Outstanding Excel skills and very high proficiency in leading a large number of data files.
  • Ability to visualize data in a compelling way; storytelling.
  • Strong focus in planning and prioritization.
  • Confidence to challenge the status quo and influence people at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and decision making skills.
