Job Description:
We are seeking a Product Quality Controller to join our team at Workshop Recruitment. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that products meet the required quality standards by performing mechanical inspection, documenting inspection results, and inputting data into our quality database. The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work independently.

The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting and approving incoming/outgoing materials/products by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, and reporting any non-conforming materials/products to the Head of Inspection/QA. They will also perform first off, in-process, and final inspection by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, and communicating required adjustments to production supervisors/operators.

The Product Quality Controller will read technical drawings, control plans, and specifications to understand product requirements and document inspection results by completing reports and logs, summarizing re-work and waste, and inputting data into our quality database. Additionally, they will raise and sign release documents (CofC, Advice Notes, etc.) and communicate with the Quality/Engineering department about preventing similar defects in the future.
