Job Title: Quality Assurance Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at Workshop Recruitment. This role involves performing mechanical inspection, documenting inspection results, and inputting data into our quality database. The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work independently.

The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting and approving incoming/outgoing materials/products by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, and reporting any non-conforming materials/products to the Head of Inspection/QA. They will also perform first off, in-process, and final inspection by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, and communicating required adjustments to production supervisors/operators.

The Quality Assurance Specialist will read technical drawings, control plans, and specifications to understand product requirements and document inspection results by completing reports and logs, summarizing re-work and waste, and inputting data into our quality database. Additionally, they will raise and sign release documents (CofC, Advice Notes, etc.) and communicate with the Quality/Engineering department about preventing similar defects in the future.
