Your Responsibilities:
  • Expert Guidance and Training: Serve as a trusted resource for dietetic knowledge, training medical staff, other healthcare professionals, and supporting nursing teams in delivering optimal patient care.
  • Patient-Centered Care: Provide individualized dietetic support to both inpatient and outpatient patients, ensuring their nutritional needs are met throughout their treatment journey.
  • Specialized Interventions: Manage a caseload of patients with complex dietary requirements within the inpatient setting. Utilize evidence-based, person-centered principles to assess, plan, and evaluate specialized dietetic interventions tailored to each patient's unique circumstances.
  • Collaborative Teamwork: Actively participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, contributing your expertise and collaborating with colleagues to develop comprehensive care plans for patients.
  • Menu Development and Oversight: Work closely with catering providers to ensure that menus offer a balanced and nutritious diet. Collaborate on the development of supplementary diets as needed, reflecting the preferences and dietary requirements of those accessing our services.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor of Science in Dietetics or Post Graduate Diploma in Dietetics
  • Registered Dietitian Member of the Health & Care Professions Council
  • Documented Evidence of Continual Professional Development
  • Proficient in the use of a PC, including software and systems
  • Must have bariatric experience
