Business Development Manager - Premier Drums

Join Gear4Music, a leading online retailer of musical instruments and equipment, as a Business Development Manager - Premier Drums. This exciting opportunity will see you driving the growth of our distribution and dealership network, developing and implementing sales strategies, and supporting the expansion of our House Brands distribution channels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies focused on driving distributor sales and expanding our international distribution network.
  • Set and achieve ambitious sales targets for distributors, ensuring growth and profitability in line with company objectives.
  • Utilise market knowledge and distributor relationships to accurately forecast future sales, particularly for new product development, ensuring alignment with market demands and trends.
  • Proactively identify and contact potential new distributors, conducting thorough market research and analysis to identify strategic opportunities for expansion.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing distributors, providing support, knowledge, and resources to optimise sales performance and customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in international business development, sales, or a related field, within the musical instruments industry.
  • Well-established contacts and strong relationships with key global stakeholders in the musical instruments industry.
  • Strong understanding of sales strategies, market analysis, and contract negotiation.
  • Specialised in tracking and analysing key sales data.
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and interpersonal skills.
