About the Role

Morrison Energy Services is seeking a skilled Construction Manager to oversee various contracts across the UK. As the representative for the company in the field, you will ensure that contracts are planned and managed to deliver works safely, to quality standards, on time, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Coordinate personnel, sub-contractors, and site management to deliver construction work activities.
  2. Ensure accurate recording and submission of data, records, and forms to the Project Manager.
  3. Review working documentation to ensure sufficiency and relevance to tasks.
  4. Assist in preparing construction phase plans.
  5. Develop and review RAMS for sub-contractors.
  6. Set up operatives, working supervisors, and sub-contractors for relevant tasks.
  7. Deliver daily activity briefs, pre-job briefs, end-of-shift debriefs, and toolbox talks.
  8. Supervise operatives, working supervisors, and sub-contractors to implement health, safety, well-being, environment, and quality standards.
  9. Assist the Contract Manager with work management and programming, and requirements for plant and materials.
  10. Prepare ITP quality records and manage implementation.
  11. Complete project handover documentation and HSE inspections.
Requirements
  • Utilities infrastructure construction experience.
  • Excellent time management.
  • Computer literacy with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Evidence of managing health and safety in construction.
  • NRSWA Supervisor.
  • CSCS manager card.
  • Site Manager Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS).
  • Full driving license.
