Nurse Unit Lead Job Opportunity

A prestigious care home in the Bourne, Lincolnshire area is seeking a dedicated Nurse Unit Lead to join their exceptional team. As a key member of the healthcare provider's staff, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care and leading a team of professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and lead the quality and management of nursing care, patient care, and the clinical environment within a nursing unit.
  • Manage and direct the delivery of clinical services within a unit, ensuring compliance with statutory regulations, current legislation, and quality standards.
  • Provide clinical leadership and expertise to all colleagues on shift as required, assuming the role of nurse-in-charge while on duty.
  • Participate fully with the multidisciplinary team and undertake direct patient care.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Previous experience in older people's care is desirable but not essential.
  • Caring and compassionate with an excellent clinical track record.
  • Passionate about delivering outstanding care to older people.
  • Excellent organization and leadership skills.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Flexible, professional, and committed to being the best.
