Supporting Vulnerable Children and Families

We are seeking a Family Support Professional to join our team in Chippenham, Wiltshire. This is an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of vulnerable children and families across the region.

Job Summary

You will be responsible for working with families to identify and address their needs, providing guidance and support to help them achieve stability and security. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in social work, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a dynamic team.

As a key member of our Social Work team, you will contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures that promote the welfare of children and families. You will also collaborate with other professionals to ensure a coordinated approach to service delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess the needs of vulnerable children and families, developing and implementing personalized plans to support their well-being
  • Collaborate with other professionals to ensure a coordinated approach to service delivery
  • Provide guidance and support to families, helping them to access resources and services that meet their needs
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures that promote the welfare of children and families
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of two years' experience in a social work setting
  • An in-depth knowledge of the Children Act 1989 and the Children Act 2004
  • A full driving license and access to a car

The salary for this position is £44,420 - £46,547 per annum, plus a 15% market supplement payment. We offer a range of benefits, including flexible working arrangements and opportunities for professional growth and development.
