Hamilton Rowe Recruitment Ltd is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join their team in Chelsea, South West London. This exciting opportunity offers a competitive salary of £42,000 - £47,000 per annum, reflecting the location and industry standards.

In this role, you will be responsible for carrying out Planned Preventative and Reactive Maintenance on commercial properties. This includes ensuring all site logbooks and documents are up-to-date, providing excellent customer service, and responding to emergencies promptly.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in either Electrical Installations or Mechanical Engineering, with a minimum of 3 years' experience in commercial building maintenance. A City and Guilds, NVQ, EAL, or equivalent qualification is required. Additionally, excellent communication skills, a great attitude, and the motivation to progress within the organization are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform PPMs and reactive maintenance tasks
  • Work with Single and Three Phase Power, Motors, Generators, UPS, Shutdowns, Emergency Lighting, Fire Alarm Tests, AHUs, FCUs, VAVs, CRAC units, Sprinkler Systems, and Pumps
  • BMS Operation
  • Ensure client satisfaction with the service provided
  • Respond to emergencies on-site
  • Fault find on M&E systems
  • Quotations
  • Health & Safety
  • Logbooks
  • Risk assessments
  • Permits to work

Requirements:

  • Fully qualified in either Electrical Installations or Mechanical Engineering (City and Guilds/NVQ/EAL or equivalent)
  • At least 3 years' experience in commercial maintenance
  • Polite and personable demeanor
  • Apprentice-trained (desirable)
