Make a Meaningful Difference in the Lives of Children with Autism

Milk Education is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Autism Support Worker to join our team at a Special School in Huyton. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in supporting children with Autism and Communication issues to thrive in a safe and nurturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the class teacher to deliver engaging and effective lessons
  • Provide emotional support and help pupils regulate their emotions
  • Create a fun and inclusive environment that fosters social and emotional growth
  • Assist with personal care and daily living tasks
Requirements:
  • Recent experience working with children or adults with learning disabilities and/or Autism in an education or health and social care capacity
  • Availability to work Monday to Friday, 08:30 - 15:30
  • Comfortable providing personal care and support
  • Ability to work under the guidance of the classroom teacher
