Veterinary Nursing Educator

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled and experienced veterinary nurse to join our team as a Learning Practitioner in Veterinary Nursing.
The successful candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in the industry, a passion for developing others, and relevant qualifications such as Level 2 Maths and English.
As a Learning Practitioner, you will be based at Northumberland College's Land-based campus in Ponteland and will play a key role in delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences to our students.
About the Role
- Deliver lectures and tutorials on veterinary nursing principles and practices.
- Mentor and support students in their studies, providing guidance and feedback.
- Develop and implement new curriculum content to ensure our programs remain current and relevant.
- Collaborate with colleagues to create engaging and effective learning materials.
Requirements
- Relevant industry experience and qualifications (Level 2 Maths and English).
- Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work effectively in a team environment.
Salary and Benefits
We offer a competitive salary range of £25,000 - £35,000 per annum, plus a generous holiday allowance of 35-48 days per year, plus public holidays. You will also have access to flexible working options, LGPS or Teacher Pensions Scheme, dental, eye care & health cash plans, and extensive wellbeing support through a dedicated Wellbeing Adviser.
