Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Frontend Software Engineer to join our team at Motorola Solutions. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing and developing responsive and user-friendly web applications using the Angular framework.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain high-quality web applications that meet the needs of our customers.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and understand requirements, and translate them into effective technical solutions.
  • Write and conduct unit tests, integration tests, and end-to-end tests to ensure the reliability of the front-end code.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest front-end development trends and technologies.
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of professional frontend development experience, with a strong focus on Angular.
  • Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript/TypeScript.
  • Experience with RESTful APIs and asynchronous programming.
  • Familiarity with UI/UX principles, and ability to work closely with designers to translate designs into reality.
  • Familiarity with version control systems, preferably Git.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to debug complex issues.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Nice to Have:
  • Experience with testing frameworks Jasmine, Karma, and Cypress.
  • Familiarity with build tools and continuous integration (Webpack, Gulp, Jenkins, etc.).
  • Understanding of security best practices to prevent common vulnerabilities such as cross-site scripting (XSS) and cross-site request forgery (CSRF).
  • Awareness of accessibility standards (WCAG) to ensure that web applications are usable and navigable by individuals with disabilities.
