Key Responsibilities:

As a Trade Support Analyst at Eton Clarke, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy of trades in our Trading Systems and providing exceptional support to our front office teams globally.

  • Execute specific types of bank trades, taking ownership as directed, for front office input into projects.
  • Act as a liaison between front office, middle office, and back office, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Run processes on behalf of the front office, including trading T+1, MarkitWire support, market commentary, and P&L investigations.
  • Proactively work to take on additional non-execution related tasks from marketing and trading, including the adoption of management information and risk analysis.
  • Prepare ad-hoc trade and portfolio modelling, utilizing the knowledge built up by LNTES of systems, trades, and business to answer queries and provide technical assistance.

Requirements:

  • Excellent numerical and analytical skills, with the ability to analyze complex financial data and derive the best possible solution.
  • Strong understanding of interest rates products, both cash and derivatives.
  • Previous experience in front office support functions.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to establish professional credibility and build effective working relationships.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and follow a sound decision-making process.
  • Excellent planning, organization, and coordination skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong levels of business understanding and commercial acumen.
  • Confidence to work independently, challenge the status quo, and be innovative in seeking new ways of doing things.
