Marketing and Communications Leader


We are seeking a highly skilled Marketing and Communications professional to join our team at Livingston James. This full-time role will be based at our Head Office in Glasgow.


The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in strategic marketing delivery within comparable sectors such as logistics, transportation, engineering, or technical fields.


Key Responsibilities:

This is a unique opportunity for an experienced Marketing and Communications professional to influence strategy and make a significant impact on the business's commercial development. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Developing and implementing effective marketing strategies to drive business growth and brand awareness.
  • Leading a team of marketing professionals to deliver high-quality marketing campaigns and communications.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and consistency in marketing efforts.
  • Managing and maintaining brand identities and target markets.
  • Creating and executing comprehensive marketing mixes, including social media strategies.
  • Designing and developing company collateral, including brochures, flyers, and other marketing materials.
  • Providing exceptional attention to detail and ensuring high-quality deliverables.
  • Staying up-to-date with emerging web technologies, including content management systems and social media tools.
  • Managing projects and collaborating with diverse teams to achieve business objectives.


Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Extensive experience in strategic marketing delivery within comparable sectors.
  • A degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related discipline, or a professional affiliation in Marketing/Communications/PR.
  • Proven experience in delivering marketing communications across multiple brand identities and target markets.
  • Strong brand management skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Experience in executing a comprehensive marketing mix, including social media strategy.
  • Design skills, particularly in creating company collateral.
  • Excellent command of the English language, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in deploying social networking media and Web 2.0 tools in a professional context.
  • Capacity to evaluate and learn emerging web technologies.
  • Proven project management skills and the ability to collaborate with diverse teams.

  • Bonus: Discretionary annual bonus based on personal and company performance.
  • Pension: Employer 12.5%.

  • Work Pattern: Hybrid (Based in the office minimum 3 days).
