Job Title: Mobile Multi-Skilled Electrical Engineer

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is a leading global provider of integrated facilities and corporate real estate management. We are seeking a highly skilled Mobile Multi-Skilled Electrical Engineer to join our team located at sites across Swindon and the surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Travel to sites across the advertised locations, ensuring a full UK driving license is held.
  • Ensure routine Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) is carried out to all mechanical and electrical plant in accordance with Site task schedules and asset lists.
  • Complete reactive tasks throughout the building, highlighting areas for improvement and ensuring plant faults and defects are swiftly remedied.
  • Provide parts lists and estimated timescales for remedial works, ensuring all relevant paperwork is completed and passed to the contract administrator.
  • Develop a good working relationship with CBRE staff, subcontractors, and client representatives, ensuring a professional image is presented at all times.
  • Ensure a Safe and Healthy working environment, including the wearing of uniform and PPE at all times.
Requirements:
  • A good basic education, with good written and spoken English.
  • Basic Mathematics skills.
  • CITY AND GUILDS qualification in a relevant field.
  • Committed to delivering excellent customer service, with a calm manner and ability to work under pressure.
  • Physically fit, able to carry tools and components by hand up to 20kg, and able to ascend and descend vertical access equipment.
Knowledge and Experience:
  • Good all-round knowledge of general building works, diagnostic and repair procedures, and working knowledge of building services systems and maintenance schedules.
  • Formally trained in electrical/mechanical Maintenance, with experience of maintaining all relevant mechanical and electrical equipment to clearly defined criteria.
  • Good PC skills and ability to operate a Permit to Work System in accordance with CBRE Quality, Health & Safety procedures, and client requirements.
Circumstances:
  • Must be willing to provide holiday and sickness cover at short notice and be flexible in their working patterns.
