Job Title: Adult Audiologist

Estimated Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum.

About the Job:

This is an exciting opportunity to join our dynamic team at a community health centre in Loughton, providing comprehensive diagnostic and rehabilitative Audiology services to an extensive population covering Waltham Forest and Redbridge London boroughs.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Audiology, holding a BSc in Audiology or equivalent qualification and having completed both parts of the professional examination, BAAT I and II.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a small area of the audiology service and contributing to the development of evidence-based protocols.

Main Responsibilities:
  • To manage a designated area of the audiology service, ensuring efficient day-to-day operations.
  • To contribute to the development of evidence-based protocols and guidelines.
  • To work effectively with other professional services, including Speech Therapy, Social Services, and ENT.
  • To prepare detailed formal reports to referrers and maintain accurate records.
Requirements:
  • BSc in Audiology or BTEC qualification in Medical Physics and Physiological Measurement.
  • Successful completion of both parts of the professional examination, BAAT I and II.
  • At least one year's experience as a Band 5 Audiologist.
  • Small area of responsibility within audiology and/or general administration.
