Job Title: General Teaching Assistant GTA SEN

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated General Teaching Assistant to provide support to pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in our school.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality support to pupils with SEN, enabling them to access the curriculum and achieve their full potential.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement individualized learning plans.
  • Assist with lesson planning, preparation, and delivery, ensuring that pupils with SEN receive the necessary support.
  • Monitor and record pupil progress, identifying areas of strength and weakness, and making recommendations for future support.
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment, promoting social and emotional well-being among pupils.
Requirements:
  • Experience of working with pupils with SEN, with a strong understanding of their needs and requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with pupils, teachers, and other support staff.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to meeting the needs of pupils.
  • Clear understanding of confidentiality and data protection, with the ability to maintain accurate and secure records.
  • Commitment to upholding the school's values and promoting a culture of respect, inclusivity, and diversity.
