About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Vice President, Asian FX Trader to join our team at Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group (MUFG). As a key member of our emerging markets team, you will be responsible for trading and risk managing Asian currencies, providing market making services to our clients, and collaborating with our sales team to deliver exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Trade and risk manage Asian currencies, including KRW, IDR, INR, and TWD
  • Provide market making services to our clients, including corporate, institutional, central bank, and government clients
  • Collaborate with our sales team to deliver exceptional customer service and identify new business opportunities
  • Monitor market and credit limits for the desk and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Conduct business in line with MUFG's values and principles, including a commitment to diversity and inclusion
Requirements
  • Direct front office global markets experience in trading with exposure to Asian currencies
  • Proven track record of generating FX trading revenue
  • Proven ability to work in a pressurized work environment
  • Strong macro economic and technical analysis skills
  • Experience in VBA/Excel pricing sheets and intermediate development skills in C++, Python, or Java
