About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled FX Trader to join our team at TD Bank - London Branch. As an FX Trader, you will be responsible for managing the electronic risk book, performing data analytics, and collaborating with business and quant teams to develop new analytics tools.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the electronic risk book, ensuring accurate and timely execution of trades
  • Perform data analytics to identify trends and opportunities for growth in the eFX business
  • Collaborate with business and quant teams to develop and implement new analytics tools and strategies
  • Work with the trading and quant group to brainstorm ideas for increasing profitability and volumes of electronic business
  • Coordinate with technical support to resolve any potential issues with the eFX trading platform
  • Collaborate with internal teams to onboard new clients and implement new business initiatives
  • Act as a liaison between the electronic FX desk and the broader FX business
  • Dynamic role with responsibilities commensurate with experience

Requirements

  • Dedicated work ethic and strong team player
  • 3+ years of eFX trading experience with a solid understanding of FX market microstructure
  • Technical mindset with knowledge of Python programming; kdb/q experience considered an asset
  • Demonstrated skills in business analysis, problem-solving, and initiative
  • Self-starter, motivated to enhance and develop the business
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
  • Effective under pressure and capable of multitasking
  • Some travel involved in the role (maximum 5% annually)

Additional Information

Education: Technical degree preferred (engineering, computer science, stats, or related field)
