Payroll Specialist

Antony James Recruitment Ltd is partnering with a specialist software client in the Hospitality sector to recruit a Payroll Executive. Based at their Coleshill HQ, this role involves processing all aspects of payroll, including BACS operations and ensuring deadlines are met.
Key Responsibilities:- Support the team with first-line payroll checks, ensuring payroll calculations are technically compliant and accurately input.
- Communicate effectively with clients (internal and external) in a professional and considered manner.
- Process new starters and leavers, as well as pensions, sick pay, and holiday pay.
- Ensure all statutory deductions are made, including pensions and auto-enrolment.
- Assist with ad-hoc duties and queries from clients, colleagues, and HMRC.
- Collaborate with the Payroll Bureau Manager to ensure all client and statutory deadlines are met, and process and procedure documents are maintained.
- Perform ad-hoc payroll duties as required.
- Experience in end-to-end payroll preparation.
- High-volume payroll experience, including weekly payroll and payroll bureau service operations.
- Strong understanding of statutory deductions, including pensions and auto-enrolment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to deal with multiple stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Excel, running and reconciling reports, and importing CSV data files.
- Experience with Gmail, Google Meet, and Monday board is advantageous.
- High attention to detail.
