About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Podiatry Specialist to join our innovative team at the Northern Care Alliance NHS Foundation Trust.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, including monitoring, diagnosis, and treatment of patients with complex foot conditions. They will also be involved in developing individual treatment plans and conducting routine treatment clinics, emergency clinics, and wound-care.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional patient care, including monitoring, diagnosis, and treatment of patients with high-risk foot conditions.
  • Develop and implement individual treatment plans for patients requiring diagnosis and interpretation of results.
  • Conduct rotations into supported development clinics in nail surgery, advanced vascular assessments, new patient triage, and biomechanics.
  • Manage a domiciliary caseload within residential or private nursing homes and in clients' own homes.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Podiatric Medicine
  • Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
  • A local anaesthesia certificate
