Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Infrastructure Strategist to join our Global Sovereign Cloud Delivery team. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in creating a unified and competitive business in the regulated industry.

Your primary responsibility will be to define and manage a best-in-class Hyperscaler optimization strategy for all solutions and central infrastructure. You will work closely with global and local Hyperscaler Providers to meet global and local compliance and security requirements.

The role involves:

  • Monitoring and understanding customer and countries pipeline to balance timely procurement and optimized Hyperscaler Infrastructure usage.
  • Familiarity with Hyperscaler offerings, services, and discount programs to find the sweet-spot for lowest infrastructure cost while supporting stakeholder requirements.
  • Driving cost-saving activities, service, security, and usage activities.
  • Managing requirements from all stakeholders and providing regular usage, cost, and optimization potential reporting.
  • Representing Sovereign Cloud in meetings with Hyperscaler representatives.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Strong analytical skills, team player, proactive networking, and results and execution focus.
  • Enjoy working in an internationally diverse team, engaging with remote teams and stakeholders across different locations.
  • Deep understanding of operations processes in SAP BTP or similar applications.
  • Skilled in process optimization.
  • High service and customer orientation, excellent oral and written communication skills in English and German.
