Job Title: Java Architect

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Java Architect to join our team at Starkflow. As a key member of our technical team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing software architectures in JEE environments, leading the development of microservices using Spring Boot, and ensuring seamless integration with cloud platforms such as OpenShift.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement software architectures in JEE environments
  • Lead the development of microservices using Spring Boot
  • Ensure seamless integration with cloud platforms such as OpenShift
  • Develop and maintain Docker and Kubernetes configurations
  • Implement continuous integration using Maven, Git, and Jenkins
  • Work with SQL and NoSQL databases
  • Implement message queuing using JMS, RabbitMQ, and Kafka
  • Collaborate with Scrum teams to ensure effective project delivery

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in Java development (v8)
  • At least 8 years of experience in software architecture and development
  • Strong understanding of unit and integration testing using JUnit and Mockito
  • Experience with Spring Technology Stack, including MVC, Core, Security, and Data
  • Knowledge of microservices architecture and cloud computing
  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
  • Strong understanding of continuous integration and delivery
  • Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases
  • Knowledge of message queuing using JMS, RabbitMQ, and Kafka
  • Experience with security protocols, including JWT and OAuth
  • Strong understanding of REST services and Swagger
  • Experience with Scrum methodology
  • Proficiency in both English and Spanish

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience with API management using WSO2
  • Knowledge of Elasticsearch, Logstash, and Kibana (ELK)
  • Experience with cloud platforms, including AWS and Azure
