Position Overview:

We are looking for a Technical Architect with extensive experience in Java (version 8 or higher) to join our team at Starkflow. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 8 years in software development, showcasing their ability to lead and define robust software architectures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and establish software architectures within JEE environments.
  • Exhibit strong leadership qualities to guide development teams.
  • Utilize microservices architecture with frameworks such as Spring Boot and leverage cloud technologies including Spring Cloud, Docker, and Kubernetes.
  • Implement Continuous Integration practices using tools like Maven, Git, Jenkins, and Sonar.
  • Manage and optimize SQL and NoSQL database systems.
  • Work with messaging systems such as JMS, RabbitMQ, and Kafka.
  • Apply Scrum methodologies effectively in project management.

Qualifications:

  • Proven ability to architect software solutions.
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of the Spring Technology Stack, microservices, cloud services, and CI/CD processes.
  • Familiarity with database management, messaging systems, security protocols, RESTful services, and Agile methodologies.
  • Fluency in English and Spanish for effective collaboration.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience with API Management platforms (e.g., WSO2).
  • Knowledge of tools such as Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana, AWS, and Azure.
