About the Role
This SEN Teaching Assistant opportunity is perfect for an Aspiring Psychologist looking to gain experience working with students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in a local school in Southwark.
As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with experienced professionals to support pupils with additional learning needs. You will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on their lives and education, while also developing your skills and knowledge in psychology.
Job Responsibilities
- Supporting pupils 1:1 and in small groups
- Working under the guidance of an experienced SENCO to implement work programmes
Requirements
- Hold a minimum degree (or predicted) of a 2:1 within Psychology from a top 20 university
- Confident in supporting young students with SEN
Benefits
- Estimated salary: £21,400 - £24,100 per annum (£480-£520 per week)
- Paid weekly on a PAYE basis
