Care Home Chef Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Chef to join our team at TRC Yorkshire. As a Chef in our care home, you will be responsible for planning and preparing daily nutritious meals for our residents. Your role will involve ensuring the food you purchase is fresh and within budget, while also maintaining high standards of food hygiene and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and prepare daily meals for residents
  • Source and purchase fresh ingredients within budget
  • Maintain high standards of food hygiene and safety
  • Train and supervise kitchen staff
  • Work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Chef, preferably in a healthcare or hospitality setting
  • NVQ Level 2/3 in Food Preparation/Catering
  • Food Hygiene Certified - Level
  • Ability to train and supervise kitchen staff
