Job Title: Open Source Build Engineer

IC Resources is seeking an experienced Open Source Build Engineer to join our team in Edinburgh. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining CI/CD tooling, creating automation jobs, and managing workflows for CI/CD pipelines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement CI/CD tooling to streamline software development, release, and deployment
  • Create automation jobs to build Open Source build tools such as gcc and OpenOCD
  • Manage workflows for CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and Jenkins
  • Support teams in creating or migrating CI/CD pipelines
  • Develop docker images and shared libraries to enable developers to easily create CI/CD pipelines
Requirements:
  • Experience in building Open Source tooling, infrastructure, and DevOps
  • Excellent knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, especially with GitHub Actions and Jenkins Pipelines
  • Deep knowledge of Typescript and Python
  • Familiarity with Open Source tools and contributions to the open-source community (Zephyr and/or embedded Linux preferred)
