Join Our Team as a Fire Safety Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Fire Safety Engineer to join our team at Pick Everard. As a Fire Safety Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in providing internal expertise across our business, supporting us in achieving high levels of safety on our projects.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our established health and safety team as a Fire Safety Engineer. You will report directly to the National Director for H&S Services and work closely with the National Director to advance, shape, and develop fire safety engineering.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide internal expertise across Pick Everard, supporting our business in achieving high levels of safety on our projects.
  • Work with the National Director to advance, shape, and develop fire safety engineering.
  • Establish strong internal relationships and maintain a strong internal network.
  • Create policies, procedures, and strategies alongside the National Director under a business plan for Fire Safety.
  • Actively seek out opportunities to drive improvements and lead in their implementation.
  • Provide external services to our clients and contribute to business development activities, helping to move the discipline forward within the industry.
Requirements
  • Engineering or similar qualification, with strong technical experience in fire engineering, design, and specification across multiple industries and building types.
  • Knowledge of Building Safety Act requirements and Fire Safety Regulations.
  • Experience in being outward-facing within an organization, building strong internal and external relationships.
