About the Role:


We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Support Engineer to join our team at iO Associates - UK/EU.



Job Description:

As a Technical Support Engineer, you will be responsible for providing 2nd and 3rd line support for checkpoint automation systems, including remote and on-site maintenance of PC and server hardware. You will maintain Windows, SQL Server, and Linux environments, alongside network infrastructure. Your collaboration with development, testing, and commissioning teams will ensure seamless system performance and maintenance. Additionally, you will deliver technical reports and perform root cause analysis.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

To excel in this role, you should possess strong knowledge of Windows Server, SQL Server, Linux, and network infrastructure. Proven problem-solving abilities and technical report writing expertise are also essential. Experience in automation, control systems, or Kubernetes is an added advantage. You should have relevant IT/Controls qualifications or equivalent experience. A willingness to support on-site across the region, including travel, is required. Furthermore, you should be flexible with office hours and available for out-of-hours support on a rota basis. A UK Passport and traceable work history are necessary for airside clearance.

Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary of up to £50,000 plus car allowance D.O.E. Our benefits package includes 25 days holidays, plus bank holidays, private medical cover, and 6% Pension contribution. We are looking for someone who can start as soon as possible.
