At Jacobs, we're looking for a talented Commercial Manager to join our team and support our Nuclear Power Programmes. As a key member of our team, you'll play a crucial role in delivering client critical works to major UK and European Projects.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in commercial and contract management, with experience in managing complex contractual events and developing commercial strategies to respond to emergent contractual topics and issues.

You'll work closely with our Engineering teams in the UK and France, providing commercial and contractual subject matter expertise and producing, analysing and presenting financial, contractual, and commercial data to internal project teams and clients.

We're looking for someone with a strong track record in contract performance measurement, risk management and change and claim management, with a good understanding of contract performance measurement and risk management.

As a Commercial Manager at Jacobs, you'll have the opportunity to work on high-profile projects, including the Hinkley Point C and Sizewell C nuclear power stations, and develop your skills in commercial and contract management.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing, coordinating, negotiating a portfolio of varied and complex contractual events from inception to implementation.
  • Developing and implementing commercial strategies to respond to emergent contractual topics and issues.
  • Providing commercial and contractual subject matter expertise to the Engineering teams, both in the UK and in France.
  • Producing, analysing and presenting financial, contractual, and commercial data to internal project teams as well as the client.
  • Coordinating with Change, Cost, Risk and Schedule teams to ensure coherent and consistent project progress.
  • Planning, preparing, and negotiating of offers as part of an offer team.
  • Implementing of all commercial and financial governance requirements.
