Warehouse Operative Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Warehouse Operative to join our team in Hull. As a Warehouse Operative, you will be responsible for operating Counterbalance forklift trucks to transport goods within the warehouse.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operating Counterbalance Forklift Trucks: Safely and efficiently operate Counterbalance forklift trucks to transport goods within the warehouse.
  • Picking and Packing: Accurately and efficiently pick and pack products, ensuring timely shipment.
  • Stock Management: Use handheld devices to record and locate stock, ensuring accurate inventory levels.
  • Quality Control: Conduct quality checks on incoming and outgoing products, ensuring high-quality standards.
  • Warehouse Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
Requirements:
  • Valid License and Experience: Hold a valid license and have experience operating a Counterbalance forklift truck in a warehouse environment.
  • Attention to Detail: Possess strong attention to detail and accuracy in your work.
  • IT Skills: Confidently use IT and mobile devices, with experience of SAP preferred but not essential.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
