Warehouse Operative Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operative to join our team at Prestige Recruitment Specialists. As a Warehouse Operative, you will be responsible for assisting with the unloading of vehicles, checking in stock, and performing warehouse inventory controls.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with the unloading of vehicles and checking in stock
  • Sort and place materials or items on to racks and shelves
  • Collect items from throughout the warehouse and prepare and complete warehouse orders for delivery or pickup
  • Perform warehouse inventory controls via scanner and/or through a computer
  • Stock counting and location checks
Requirements:
  • Reliable and well-mannered with a good absence and timekeeping record
  • Conscientious and enthusiastic with a willingness to meet deadlines
  • Ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team
  • Proactive with a desire and attitude to learn and develop
  • Excellent attitude towards Health and Safety
What We Offer:
  • Competitive hourly rate of £11.44
  • Early shift: 07:00 - 15:00
  • Afternoon shift: 15:00 - 23:00
  • Overtime available if requested
