Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Financial Fundraising Specialist to join our team at Charity Horizons. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in securing sustainable income sources to support the growth of Kidz Klub Leeds.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of working on grant and trust fundraising, with excellent written skills and the ability to compose compelling applications for funders. A natural flair for storytelling is essential, as well as a strong understanding of the importance of confidentiality and high levels of integrity.

About the Role
  • Maintain and increase funding from existing and new grant making trusts.
  • Write applications to existing and new trust funders, capturing the charity's tone of voice, impact, track record, and professionalism.
  • Implement digital strategies, funnels, and Google Ads (training provided) to attract, engage with, and retain new supporters to our database.
  • Attend networking events/presentations to represent the charity, including some church presentations.

Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Benefits: Generous annual leave of 6 weeks, plus bank holidays; Trust Pension policy; Bonus day of leave per 5 years worked scheme.
