Teaching Assistant Opportunity in a Good Primary School

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our Year 2 classroom at an Ofsted rated 'Good' Primary school in Prenton. As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the class teacher to support pupils and teacher both inside and outside the classroom. Your responsibilities will include undertaking admin tasks, taking small groups of children for planned interventions, and working 1:1 with children who require extra support with their curriculum-based learning. If you are passionate about education and have a love for working with children, we would love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting the class teacher in the Year 2 classroom
- Undertaking admin tasks such as photocopying and playground duty
- Taking small groups of children for planned interventions such as phonics sessions
- Working 1:1 with children who require extra support with their curriculum-based learning
- Creating eye-catching displays for the classroom

Requirements:
- Experience working with children is preferred but not required
- Ability to work as part of a team and support the class teacher
- Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
