Senior Practitioner (Residential Support Worker)

We are seeking a dedicated Senior Practitioner to support young people with complex needs and lead a team of committed professionals.

Support the Manager and Deputy Manager in the operational management of the staff team, ensuring efficient deployment of resources.

Respond to the individual needs of young people as outlined in their care plans, working in collaboration with families, social workers, and other agencies.

Ensure all work aligns with relevant legislation, procedures, and best practices, with a focus on safeguarding young people.

Monitor and review care plans to ensure they are being effectively implemented.

Manage administrative tasks to maintain efficient operations and support management systems.

Strong understanding of the developmental needs (physical, emotional, intellectual, and social) of young people.

Knowledge of Child Protection procedures and experience with Social Care Services.

Leadership skills with the ability to motivate and support team members.

Interpersonal skills to relate well to young people, families, and staff at all levels.

Ability to handle emotional stress and remain flexible in challenging situations.

A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people.

As a Senior Practitioner, you will be responsible for leading a team of committed professionals and supporting young people with complex needs.

You will also be responsible for monitoring and reviewing care plans, managing administrative tasks, and maintaining efficient operations and support management systems.
