In beBee Professionals, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef Manager to join our kitchen team in Lowestoft, UK. As the second-in-command, you will assist the Head Chef in managing the kitchen and ensuring exceptional food quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Menu Planning and Preparation: Assist the Head Chef in planning and preparing menus that showcase fresh, high-quality ingredients.
  • Kitchen Operations: Supervise the kitchen team and ensure smooth operation during service, maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
  • Quality Control: Ensure all dishes are prepared to the highest standard and delivered on time, meeting the expectations of our discerning customers.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory and order supplies as needed, minimizing waste and optimizing costs.
  • Team Leadership: Help train and mentor junior kitchen staff, promoting a positive and supportive work environment.
  • Head Chef Cover: Take charge of the kitchen in the absence of the Head Chef, demonstrating leadership and problem-solving skills.

Requirements:

  • Chef Experience: Proven experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar role, with a strong understanding of food safety regulations and kitchen hygiene.
  • Creativity and Passion: Creativity and passion for cooking with fresh, high-quality ingredients, combined with the ability to lead and inspire a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility: Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required, demonstrating adaptability and a commitment to customer satisfaction.
  • Food Hygiene Certificate: Food Hygiene Certificate (Level 2 or higher preferred), demonstrating a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of food safety and hygiene.
