Job Description

Essex Wildlife Trust is seeking a Culture Lead to join our People and Culture team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for delivering the Trust's culture plan, ensuring a high-performing, high-impact, people-centred organisation.

The successful candidate will partner and engage with staff across all departments and levels of seniority, contributing to the development of the culture strategy and associated plans. This will include workstreams such as Equality, Diversity & Inclusion, Wellbeing, Safeguarding/Safety, and Sustainability.

The role will be responsible for ensuring the Trust's values are embedded across the combined workforce of staff and volunteers, developing a healthy, inclusive, and safe working environment where everyone thrives and achieves their potential.

This is a maternity cover position working 30 hours per week, with flexible working arrangements available. The starting salary is £23,100 per annum (FTE £28,875), and the role is based at our Head Office location at Abbotts Hall in Great Wigborough.

The successful candidate will have a CIPD Level 5 qualification, analytical skills, and experience in culture change leadership. They will also have strong organisational culture knowledge, organisational skills, and the ability to develop policies and reports.
