Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Learning Support Assistant to join our team at Aspire People in Coalville. The ideal candidate will have experience working with students in a KS2 class and be able to provide individualized support and assistance.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Collaborate with the classroom teacher to plan and deliver tailored lessons and activities to meet the student's unique needs.
  2. Support the student's academic, social, and emotional development, promoting their self-confidence and independence.
  3. Assist with the assessment of the student's progress and provide feedback to the classroom teacher and parents.
  4. Foster positive relationships with the student and establish clear communication channels with the school and parents.

Requirements

  1. Level 2/3 Support Teaching or Learning / Childcare (or ratio equivalent).
  2. Strong empathy and understanding of individual student needs.
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with the student, staff, and parents.
  4. Patience, resilience, and the ability to provide emotional support when needed.

Benefits
