About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Vehicle Damage Assessor to join our team at FMG Repair Services. As a Vehicle Damage Assessor, you will be responsible for assessing the extent of damage to vehicles, estimating repair costs, and preparing estimates for insurance companies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess the extent of damage to vehicles and estimate repair costs
  • Prepare estimates for insurance companies
  • Liaise with insurance companies to obtain authority to repair vehicles
  • Work effectively with customers, engineers, and technicians to explain and ensure they understand the repair methodology
  • Keep up to date with all repair methodologies and manufacturer literature and bulletins
  • Work as part of a team to ensure vehicles are repaired safely and efficiently

Requirements:

  • Qualified to NVQ level 3/City & Guilds or ATA qualified with a solid Bodyshop background
  • Full UK driving licence
