Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Sous Chef to join our team at Compass Group UK. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional food quality and service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of chefs in the preparation and presentation of high-quality food
  • Develop and implement new menu concepts and recipes
  • Ensure adherence to health and safety standards and food hygiene regulations
  • Manage inventory and ordering of stock
  • Deputise for the Head Chef in their absence
  • Cater for customers daily

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef in a high-volume kitchen environment
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Passion for food and commitment to delivering exceptional quality
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
