We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Estates Manager to join our team at Sainsbury's. As an Estates Manager, you will play a critical role in the proactive and effective management of our extensive property portfolio.
Key Responsibilities- Proactively manage leases and associated lease transactions to minimize property costs and maximize flexibility within the designated region.
- Manage external consultants and internal stakeholders, including Store Managers and Regional Operation Managers, to ensure effective collaboration and communication.
- Formulate recommendations on Landlord and Tenant matters, and build relationships with landlords and tenants to drive the best commercial settlements for Sainsbury's.
- Oversee the implementation of internal projects impacting the Sainsbury's & Argos estate, and stay updated with market trends to ensure the portfolio remains optimized.
- Highly knowledgeable and experienced professional with a strong background in property management.
- Relevant property experience and ideally membership in RICS.
- Deep understanding of lease events, landlord and tenant matters, and property market trends.
- Strong commercial acumen and ability to use your own initiative to proactively manage the Sainsbury's & Argos portfolio.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
