Main Responsibilities:

To work under the guidance of Class Teachers, Senior Leaders and SENDCo to deliver support, enabling pupils to access learning and maximise their academic, social and emotional potential.

Key Tasks:

  1. Deliver support to individual children or groups of pupils to assist in accessing learning.
  2. Work with Class Teachers and the SENDCo to ensure pupil progress.
  3. Assist in implementing pupil outcomes within Educational Healthcare Plans.

Working Context: This role requires collaboration with the class teacher, SENDCo and Senior Leadership Team to deliver support and enable pupils to access learning. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with children, teachers and other support staff.

Essential Skills and Qualities: To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team. You will also need to be able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
