About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Care Team Leader to join our team at The Orders of St John Care Trust. As a key member of our care team, you will be responsible for leading a small team of carers to deliver high-quality care to our residents.

As a Care Team Leader, you will be responsible for:

  • Leading a team of carers to deliver care plans that meet the individual needs of our residents
  • Ensuring the highest standards of care are maintained at all times
  • Supporting the Home Manager in the planning and implementation of care services
  • Managing and developing the skills of your team to ensure they are equipped to deliver the best possible care
  • Collaborating with other departments to ensure seamless care delivery

You will be a positive role model, with excellent communication skills and a natural ability to get along with others. You will be confident in your ability to lead and motivate your team to deliver the highest quality of care.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience of working in a residential care setting
  • A NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care (or equivalent)
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • A natural ability to motivate and lead a team
  • Confidence in your ability to make decisions and take charge
