Advanced Threat Response Specialist

About the Role:
This role involves working closely with our clients to deliver Microsoft security services and solutions. You will be responsible for monitoring security alerts from Security Platforms, primarily Microsoft Sentinel/Defender, and providing advanced second line security incident management and analysis to the customers. Additionally, you will maintain high levels of ownership through the security incident lifecycle and interface with our customers to resolve issues and provide additional information.
Responsibilities:
* Monitor security alerts from Security Platforms, primarily Microsoft Sentinel/Defender* Provide advanced second line security incident management and analysis to the customers through effective monitoring, reporting, and technical guidance for successful resolution* Maintain high levels of ownership through the security incident lifecycle* Interface with our customers to resolve issues, provide additional information, and answer questions related to incidents and monitoring* Maintain high quality security incident resolution and performance adherence* Experience working in a Microsoft MDR/XDR SOC,* The ability to dynamically assess risks, threats & threat actors for new and existing customers* KQL (Kusto Query Language) experience* Cyber qualifications such as the Microsoft SC-200 or related certs* Previous experience with SIEM tools including Microsoft Sentinel, and Defender* Familiarity with cyber security concepts and their application in different business environments
About You:
We offer a competitive salary up to £62,500, plus benefits and training opportunities. You will be based in either Manchester, Birmingham, or Maidenhead and will spend approximately 5-6 days per month on site. A minimum of 5 years' experience in the UK is required for security clearance. You'll be part of a multi award winning culture built around the values of its people.
